My wife and I consider ourselves to be connoisseurs of coffee. There is simply nothing more satisfying than a great cup of coffee whether it is an espresso, latte, or cappuccino. That’s why we decided to buy ourselves a quality espresso machine to celebrate our tenth wedding anniversary. We set to work doing our research to find the right machine that met all of our criteria and we found the DeLonghi Magnifica esam 3300. This machine is capable of preparing all the drinks we like and more. It is super-automatic and has a unique beans-to-brew system that grinds the coffee beans immediately prior to brewing so that you get an incredible aromatic espresso!
At approximately $799.00 to $899.00, this espresso maker was even less than we thought we would have to spend to get a versatile, quality espresso machine. When we received this DeLonghi Espresso Maker, we tried it out immediately. The one feature we liked the most was that the espresso is at a consistently ideal temperature because of the stainless steel double boiler and the even heat distribution it provides. The right temperature is extremely important for the taste of the espresso and the instant reheat function keeps the machine at the right temperature no matter how long you wait between cups.
The features of the espresso maker fit well into the space provided on the front of the machine. The burr grinder is space saving and the grind level is adjustable, however the machine also uses pre-ground coffee. The control panel is located on the front of the machine, is easily accessible while allowing access to the rest of the machine. The front control panel also allows you to set the water and coffee quantity.
Our espresso maker is delightful. With the smallest removable brewing system available, every cup of espresso we drink is at the correct temperature because of the superior heat distribution program. The removable brew group allows for easy cleaning of this espresso maker. Difficult cleaning areas on other espresso machines, that require harsh cleansers, are not a problem with this machine. I think that this is the greatest gift that my wife and I have ever received.
We wanted to make a big investment on a quality machine that would satisfy our need for coffee bar drinks without paying $4-$7 a pop. We settled on this DeLonghi Espresso Maker and have had zero problems. The quality is excellent and there isn’t a day that it’s not used in our house. I think it has already paid for itself. The crema on the coffee is excellent and better than you get at most places.
